The Minister of Public Works & Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson, will tomorrow, Saturday, 13 December 2025, visit the site of a four-story building collapse in Redcliffe, North of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal, to receive a full briefing on the disaster and rescue efforts underway. The Minister will be joined by the KwaZulu-Natal Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Rev Thulasizwe Buthelezi, KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Public Works and Infrastructure, Martin Meyer, Council for the Built Environment (CBE) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr Msizi Myeza, and Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) CEO Bongani Dladla.
