Driving digital transition in the South African built environment

On 24 and 25 January 2023, the Council for the Built Environment (CBE) in collaboration with the University of Johannesburg – Centre of Applied Research and Innovation in the Built Environment (CARINBE), hosted a webinar on “Driving Digital Transition in the South African Built Environment”. The webinar explored how digital transformation in the built environment can be fast tracked through a systematic and predictable roadmap.

The recently launched 3D Construction Printing for Sustainable Human Settlements Project by the University of Johannesburg is a clear demonstration of government’s commitment to increasingly employ science, technology, and innovation in the built environment.
